I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the community leaders and the admins (other than one is a community leader and the other the admin). Specifically, I am interested in the privilages. What can the admin do that the commuity leader can not, that sort of thing. Thanks in advance. -- JG.
admin's are in charge of removing posts and updating the games!
comunity leaders are there to oversee the zone
In my experiences with both, it apears that they r even higer members. They really don't seam to do anything.
um, excuse me, I'm an ex community leader, and this is what they do averse to admins. com community leaders can delete posts, edit posts, enable and disable accounts, edit boards, remove board, shift boards, etc. As well as add to anagram mania and anagram extreme. Admins can do all this as well as code for the site, and add new features. hth
What Dobbin says is pretty much correct. Just to expand. CL's can't do anything with points and they can't change your security level, for example from normal to premium. No one can tell what your password is (it's hashed), though it can be reset if necessary. CL's can disable accounts, but they can't re-enable them (because they can't set security levels). They can add and remove bans from Ventrilo. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
hmmm, yes, well, I've been called worthless before...it's something that one gets quite use to! mmm! Keep em comin'!
ok chris, I screwed up on the enabling account bit.
how about if the admin/CL create a new title, just for me! i will be ... the *something or other* yay! *is proud and starts printing business cards*
...
okay, yeah, i am a dork
good point you've got there.
who on the zone would you have as an admin or comunity leader!
